Use the right planning base

The Kosatka submarine is the heist’s base of operations. Its optional customizations include guided missiles, sonar and a weapon workshop. Those extras are distinct from the submarine’s planning role; this page does not turn the customization menu into a required shopping list.

Solo or with friends

Rockstar documents scoping, preparation and execution solo or with up to three other players. Decide who will participate before planning your session, then follow the current planning board for the selected operation.

Experienced solo Longfin checklist

This PS5 checklist is for an experienced host who already has the Kosatka ready, has scoped the Pink Diamond and the Drainage Tunnel, and can follow the linked route. It is one reviewed route, with Longfin, Main Dock infiltration, Drainage Tunnel entry, Day, Aggressor and Suppressors. It does not cover first-time acquisition or every target and approach.

Follow the recorded route

Use Fresh Gaming's original run as moving visual help. Loot and patrol positions require attention in your own run. The example has breathing equipment available and collects secondary loot before its primary target.

1. Airstrip stop: reach the hangar, use the forklift and pallet for its upper storage, then open the cage with the torch. Watch from 11:35.
2. Compound entry: return to the Longfin, reach the underwater grate and use the torch. 12:54.
3. Office approach: follow the terraces and stairs in the moving reference, watching the camera and patrol. 13:24.
4. Elevator: this run collects an office painting, then uses the fingerprint scanner to reach the basement. Loot availability varies. 14:16.
5. Pink Diamond: torch the gate, use the plasma cutter and manage its displayed heat gauge. Return by elevator. 14:51.
6. Compound exit: follow the courtyard route to the main gate. The Drainage Tunnel is entry-only. 15:16.
7. Escape: the example uses a motorcycle and then swims away. The game allows a different escape from the selected Main Dock marker. Watch guards and your air gauge. 15:56.

Rockstar recommends selecting suppressors in its Cayo Perico tips. Guards, including the Juggernaut, can discover bodies and raise the alarm; see the official explanation. The linked run is visual guidance, not a guaranteed undetected guard sequence.
