Preferences on your device.

Your chosen theme and guide checklist progress are saved in your browser's local storage. There is no website account or server profile for these preferences. Reset a checklist on its page, choose System in the theme selector, or clear this site's browser data to remove saved settings.

Search.

Search and filtering run in your browser against the published library. Search terms appear in the page URL so the view can be shared. Avoid putting personal information into a search. URLs may be included in ordinary hosting request logs.

Ask Up Close.

Your conversation stays in this browser tab’s memory and is cleared when you reload or choose New chat. Questions are sent to this website’s assistant endpoint to find reviewed answers. We do not keep a chat database. When the AI connection is enabled, your current question, relevant reviewed answers, and the reviewed answer titles and IDs from up to six recent exchanges are sent to OpenAI to select an answer. Previous question text is removed from that context. The interface labels these replies AI assisted; Knowledge lookup replies use the website library. When AI is configured, a question may still have been sent to OpenAI before a connection error led to a lookup reply. When AI is not configured, questions are not sent to an AI provider. OpenAI processing remains subject to its API data policies, including applicable abuse-monitoring retention. We request that response storage be disabled; that does not mean all provider retention is eliminated.

Do not include passwords, account credentials or personal details. We use Vercel BotID to verify chat requests. It processes browser challenge and connection information to help identify automated requests. Temporary rate counters use a keyed hash of the connection address rather than storing the raw address in those counters. If shared quota storage is configured, these counters are also processed by Upstash and expire within 24 hours. Shared spending totals contain no conversation text and expire within 40 days. Voice questions.

Speak starts your microphone only when you press it and your browser permits access. Your browser converts speech into an editable draft and may send audio to its own speech recognition service. This website does not record, upload or store the audio. Review the text and press Ask to send the question to our assistant. Stop mic, closing the assistant or leaving the tab stops listening. You can always type instead; speech recognition is not available in every browser.

Videos and external links.

The YouTube player loads only after you press Play. Playback then connects to YouTube using its privacy-enhanced embed domain. YouTube may process data under its own policies. Video posters are served by this site. Following social or source links takes you to another service.

Hosting and measurement.

Vercel hosts this website and processes normal connection data needed to deliver pages, such as IP address, requested URL and browser information. Vercel Web Analytics measures visitors, page views, referring sites, approximate location, and browser/device types in aggregate without analytics cookies. Page-view URLs exclude query parameters and fragments, and this site limits referrers to their origin. We do not send form contents or assistant conversations to analytics. Contact.

The contact form uses your name, reply email, message and any page details you include to handle your enquiry. When you press Send message, your browser sends these details directly to FormSubmit for delivery to our inbox. This connection also shares normal connection data, such as your IP address and browser information, with FormSubmit. FormSubmit states that it retains submissions for 30 days in its submission archive. Received messages are also kept in our email services so we can respond. This website does not keep a separate message database or add you to a mailing list.
