Career Builder: before you choose

Career Builder is available in GTA Online on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC Enhanced. It applies when creating a character or overwriting a profile. Rockstar’s source lists four paths: Executive, Gunrunner, Nightclub Owner and Biker.

Understand the starting budget

The allocation is GTA$4,000,000 for the opening selection of property, vehicles and weapons. You can carry at most GTA$1,000,000 of that allocation into the game. Treat the selection screen as a budget to allocate, rather than four million in unrestricted starting cash.

Keep the one-time limit in mind

This benefit can only be used once. Deleting a character that already used it does not restore the allocation. Avoid resetting a character just to try for another payout.

Before choosing, read what the Nightclub and Bunker actually do. Our recommendation is to choose the activity you want to learn first; we have not ranked these starts by measured earnings.
