Unlock the Heavy Sniper Mk II Thermal Scope
Thermal Scope and Night Vision Scope are separate Heavy Sniper Mk II Bunker research projects. After the relevant project unlocks, buy and equip the scope at a Weapon Workshop.
Thermal helps distinguish heat signatures; night vision serves dark scenes. These are sight options, not bullet-damage upgrades. Research is random, so you cannot select Thermal Scope as your next project.
