GTA Online · QUICK ANSWER
Why do other players kill me so quickly?
Equipment is only part of a GTA Online fight. Hits, range, exposure, current health and armor can change the result. Maximum health increases through rank 100, and bulletproof helmets protect against some headshots; they do not make every wearer invulnerable.
Bull Shark Testosterone is another possible difference: Rockstar describes Brucie’s boost as doubling damage dealt and halving damage received. You cannot identify the cause of one death from the result alone.
For your next session: refill snacks and armor, check Shooting skill, fit available control attachments, and practise a familiar gun from cover. The weapon wheel has on-screen snack and armor prompts. Then add a close-range and long-range option.
