GTA Online · QUICK ANSWER
Which Mk II special ammunition should I use?
Regular ammunition is our everyday default. Special rounds have restricted capacity and are refilled at a Weapon Workshop. Check the selected gun: every Mk II weapon does not accept every type.
Tracer shows the projectile path; Incendiary can ignite targets; Hollow Point serves unarmored targets; Armor Piercing serves body-armor penetration; FMJ serves vehicles and bullet-resistant glass. These are different roles, not a universal damage ladder.
Heavy Sniper Mk II has explosive ammunition. Pump Shotgun Mk II uses its own labels: Dragon’s Breath, Flechette, Steel Buckshot and Explosive Slugs. Be deliberate before replacing a larger regular magazine.
